With Mother's Day coming up, a little jewelry style post only seemed completely fitting. I mean really, what Mama doesn't want a cute necklace that has something meaningful written on it? Exactly. I want 100 of them please. In fact, I'll take 100. Anyone want to go ahead and just sent 100 necklaces my way? ;) KIDDING. Kind of.
Okay but seriously, a couple of weeks ago I did a snap chat Q & A, where I answered all sorts of questions from y'all about anything and everything! It was so fun, in fact I might need to do that again. BUTTTT, back on track, one of the questions I got asked was how do I find time to keep things stylish and put together while being a full time Mom/working Mom? Well my answer was obviously something similar to this, "I'm actually generally a giant hot mess, y'all just can't see below my shirt because I promise there's sweats on and they have baby food all over them". Truth though. However, I did give a couple of tips and this was and is my biggest tip: Even if you have your hair thrown up in a bun, take 2 minutes to throw some eye make up on, put a necklace on and tie the bottom of your shirt (it adds a little somethin' alright?!)! Seriously, this is my go to on the daily. I mean because let's be real, I do NOT shower everyday or have the time to curl my hair, not to mention Blake is really into pulling my hair so it goes straight up most days! However, for me personally, if I throw a little mascara on (over yesterday's leftovers, ha!), put a cute but simple necklace on and tie my shirt, I feel a little more put together. Which means my confidence level is up and my day is a little brighter. It's really a win, win for everyone around me. ;)
