One of my favorite things about Valentine's Day is making pretty DIY crafts. I wrote an article on cupcakemag.com about some of the creative ideas I've found but wanted to continue with a few more here that are great to do with kids.
Love this paper heart garland and it looks so fun to make. All you do is paint a few different sheets of paper with red and pink paint (of course you can really do any combo of colors), then after they dry you cut out heart shapes and string them up. Simple to do and looks so cute. Check it out here.
I love this take on a paper heart change. It's a great project for kids and is a great way to add some festive Valentine's decorations to your home. Take a look at how to make it here.
These newspaper valentine's are so creative and a great alternative to store bought valentine's day cards. First you paint patterns and designs on newspaper print. Then you'll cut them out in heart shapes. Next you'll paint the cards to glue the hearts on and voila, you have these. To get more detailed instructions click here.
I posted this in the CupcakeMag article but just had to post it again here because I think it's so cute. These felt bow and arrows are just too cute. All you need is a variety of felt colors, some glue, string and some sticks from your yard or park. For more information on how to make these click here.
