Reading Christmas Stories during the holidays is such a wonderful part of the season.  My daughter and I have been reading her collection of Christmas books since she was a baby.  Each year we get a new one (or two!) and have a lot of fun snuggling and reading together.  These are some of our favorites you shouldn't miss!
The author, Jan Brett, has so many wonderful holiday books.  The illustrations are beautiful and her stories are always very compelling.  The Mitten is one of our favorites, however you pretty much can't go wrong with any of them.
The Animal's Merry Christmas by Richard Scarry is filled with a collection of fun Christmas stories.  What really draws me to this book is how vintage the stories and illustrations are.  It's a book your little one's will enjoy for years to come.
There are several Olivia Christmas books, but this has become our favorite.  Every year we laugh at the same parts and of course I then have to read them again and again!
The Sweet Smell of Christmas has been around for a long, long time.  What makes it so fun is that it's a scratch and sniff book.  You get to scratch and sniff candy canes, ginger bread cookies, hot cocoa, a Christmas Tree and much more.
Can't have a collection of Christmas books without How The Grinch Stole Christmas!  A classic that everyone enjoys!  Dr. Seuss books are just in a league of their own.
Another favorite is the Nutcracker.  There are a lot of versions out there, this just happens to be the one we have.  The illustrations are beautiful and now we have a small collection of nutcrackers inspired by this book.  Would love to hear about any of your favorite Christmas Stories you love to read!
